But when you are updating an app that was working just fine and all of a sudden, you can no longer use the app, it's even more frustrating. The easiest way to check this will be to open a web link in Safari.If the website opens just fine, your network is good and the app being stuck at Loading/Waiting is caused due to some other issue.But if the website doesn't open and Safari throws an error, there could be two possibilities: the network is down or the connection is slow. If both these things do not fix your issue, it could be a problem at Apple's end.

But the issue does crop up in i OS 7 too (especially with recent updates).

However, with the mobile app of Self Service this option doesn't appear to be present.

If I restrict the App store for younger students, there is no way to update the apps unless I delete them and then reinstall from Self Service.

It would be nice to have a way to have users go to Self Service, not only for their apps but also for their app updates ... I asked the very same question via the live chat yesterday. but the web clip option is for the web app of self service and it doesn't appear to be apart of the of the mobile app version.
